Please read carefully before starting

Part I: How This Process Works
  1. We will open online scheduling for LIHEAP on November 1, 2017 at 8:30 a.m.
  2. You MUST reside in Cowlitz or Wahkiakum County.
    (a) Not sure whether you live in Cowlitz or Wahkiakum County? Look at the Zip Code List to the right.
    (b) If you are outside Cowlitz or Wahkiakum County and need energy assistance use the LIHEAP link to the right.
  3. You MUST be income eligible. Check the Household Size and Income chart link to the right.
  4. You MUST take a Conservation Education Class before your appointment (this is required every year).
Part II: Getting an appointment
  1. Appointments are scheduled on a first come first serve basis (for HEATING assistance ONLY on this web site). If you need help with anything other then HEATING assistance, you come into the CAP office.
  2. You have 15 minutes to complete this portion to secure your appointment.
  3. You will need to fill in: total number of people in the household, last 4 numbers of your Social Security number, your name, birthdate, address, phone number and check the boxes for all income types in your household. You will want to have all required information available before continuing, as the 15-minute clock will start when you click on the "Begin the application process" button.
  4. When you complete the pre-application questions you will be prompted to select an appointment time for your class from the online calendar. After you have selected your class you will be prompted to select an appointment time (to provide income documentation) from the online calendar.
  5. ************************************************************************************************************************
